SAP MM : How to Define Temperature Conditions in SAP ?

Define Temperature Conditions

This is simply the temperature at which the material should be stored.  Certain chemicals and metals need to be stored in low temperature to valid chemical reaction.  The temperature conditions field is stored at the Client level;  is valid for all plants.
In this step, you define the temperature conditions under which your materials are to be stored. If a material needs to be stored at a particular temperature, this is indicated in the "Temp. Conditions" field in its master record.
This field is maintained in the Storage view on the material master record.

STEP 1: Following is the path to Define temperature conditions
  •  IMG activity path :IMG > LOGISTICS – GENERAL  => MATERIAL MASTER  => SETTINGS FOR KEY FIELS=>  DEFINE TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS
  • Transaction code : SPRO


    STEP 2:  Click on execute button to create the new temperature conditions (Following type Window will open), Click on “New Entries” button to create the new temperature conditions


STEP 3:  Following type Window will open, Give appropriate name


STEP 4:  Click on Save Button to store Configured data.
