A Company is an organizational unit in accounting which represents a Business organization according to the requirements of Commercial law in particular Country.

- All Basic data of Each Company store in Company Definition
- This is the highest level entity in SAP hierarchy for a company or group of company.
- This should not be confused with the login client.
- A Company cancomprise one or more Company Codes.
- Company G0000 is preset in all foreign key tables.
- If you only require One Company , SAP recommends to keep/use the preset company ID G00000
STEP 1: Following is the path For DEFINE
COMPANY
- IMG activity path :IMG > ENTERPRISE STRUCTURE > DEFINATION > FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING>DEFINE COMPANY
- Transaction code : SPRO
STEP 2: Click On SAP reference IMG Option, Go as per following Path
STEP 3: Click on execute button to DEFINE COMPANY (Following type Window
will open)
STEP 4: Click on New Entries button
(Following type Window will open)
STEP 5: Update the Following Data

Company : Give/Enter 4 digit Code

Company Name : Give Company Name ( Note that this is Client/Corporate/
Enterprise Name under which Different Company Codes are working )

Company Name 2 : you can use if Company name is not
completed in above section

: Select the Country Name in which Company is situated
o Language
Key : Select the Language Key
o Currency
: Select the Currency In Which Company Maintain
there Balance sheet
STEP 5: Hit Enter Button &Then Click
On Save Button to store Configured data
- · Make sure that chart of accounts and Fiscal year must be same in all Company Codes & Company however you can use different currencies
